It's a GIRL!!!!!

Is Baby Reiff a prince or princess????

This Friday JD and I go to the Dr. to find out if Baby Reiff is a prince or princess! We are so very excited about it and we can hardly stand the wait!!!  The real challenge will be to keep it a secret for an entire week! We are meeting both sets of Grandparents-to-be in Destin, Florida and plan to announce it to the them while on vacation! We thought it would be a special surprise for everyone. We are going to have a special cake made for the occasion! The inside of the cake will be colored pink or blue, and once you cut the cake, it will reveal the gender to the family! We can’t wait to share the news with everyone!

Our Little One is in the "Lime" light (12 weeks pregnant)

Yesterday we went in for our twelve week check- up and sonogram! It was one of the most amazing experiences to see how much our little one has developed in the past 12 weeks. Heartbeat looked great and all seems to be going very well! This week Baby Reiff is about the the size of a lime and is growing by leaps and bounds! The most dramatic development that will take place over the next 6 days will be  the reflexes.  Fingers will soon begin to open and close, toes will curl, eye muscles will clench, and mouth will make sucking movements.

WE ‘RE HAVING A BABY

The time has finally come to share the news that we are soon going to be welcoming a new addition to our family! I went to the Dr. for a well women’s exam on February 28^th, and came out with the incredible news that there is a little baby bean growing in my belly!!! That’s right; We are pregnant with Little Baby Reiff! We could not be more thrilled! We are trying to embrace every moment of this journey as it truly is a blessing and miracle! It almost seems a bit surreal like this is all a dream! No one could have prepared us for the joy we feel in our hearts coupled with the apprehension of being soon to be first time parents! We are so thankful for this precious little life that The Lord is creating in me!!!! This week we are 6 or 7 weeks into this journey! Please join us in prayer as we embark on this new chapter of our lives!
